Oh, I absolutely have — in the Valley of Fire, deep in the Mojave Desert, where the sun shows no mercy and the rocks look like they’ve been blushing for centuries. By day, it was hot enough to fry your patience (and your eggs).
At night, though? Pure celestial drama. The sky was so clear it looked like someone peeled back the atmosphere just to give us a sneak peek at heaven. Stars weren’t twinkling—they were blazing, unapologetically flaunting their beauty.
Unforgettable? Absolutely. Peaceful, surreal, and slightly uncomfortable in all the right ways. I felt tiny, cosmic, and somehow deeply connected to every grain of sand around me. 10/10 would recommend—just bring extra water and don’t trust the desert silence. It’s up to something.
